How to avoid saying “I turned 40 and my body’s falling apart”

Women’s health looks different at every decade, but that doesn’t mean you can ignore it early on.

Dr. Neha Patel explained how many women ignore preventive health and then wake up in their 40’s with a lot of health issues to tackle.

But for women who keep up with their screenings have a better chance at avoiding the dreaded, “I turned 40 and my body’s falling apart.”

That means:
getting your pap smears in your 20’s
getting your mammograms in your 40’s
getting your colonoscopies starting at 45
getting bone density scans leading into menopause
