Time to pick your peas!

Peas and heat don’t mix (and neither do we, honestly) – which means it’s time to harvest!

We check in on Marianne Aleardi’s peas, eat a lot of them and Toni Farmer gives us a refresher on trellising because these pea plants could have used some help.

But don’t worry, we’ll be planting more peas this fall. So remember these tips for harvesting…
If they look like the peas in the grocery store, pick them!
If they’re not quite there, you can pick them or give them another day to grow.
If they still look like babies, you choose. Keep them on the vine to grow a little more or pick them to encourage your pea plant to grow even more peas.

Happy gardening!
