Things to Do in South Jersey this Weekend (October 28 – 30)

Halloween Night Market

When: Friday, October 28, 4 – 8:30 pm
Where: Kings Court, Haddonfield
Stop by the first annual Haddonfield Halloween Night Market, filled with vendors & artists selling spooky materials like apothecary items, horticulture & curiosities. Plus, enjoy a DJ, face painting, temporary tattoos, hair tinseling & more. 

Halloween Parade & Party Boo Bash

When: Friday, October 28, 4:30
Where: Gibbstown
Line up at 4:30 pm for a kid’s costume parade from the police station to Clonell Church, then enjoy a trunk-or-treat, kids costume contest, Halloween crafts, entertainment & snacks. Register your trunk ahead of time online.

NJ Spirits Festival

When: Saturday, October 29, 1 – 5 pm
Where: Battleship New Jersey, Camden
Hop aboard the Battleship New Jersey to sample mixed drinks and spirits from distilleries right here in the Garden State. Plus, free tarot card readings, a Halloween costume contest, ship tours, music and food concessions. The event is also hosting a food drive for prepacked foods benefiting WMMR’s Preston and Steve’s Camp Out for Hunger. Tickets cost $50 and benefit the Battleship New Jersey conservation efforts. 

Boo at the Zoo

When: Saturday, October 29 starting at 10 am
Where: Cape May County Park

Put on your best costumes to go trick or treating with the animals from the Cape May County Zoo. Enjoy a costume contest, arts and crafts, games, candy, entertainment, inflatables and, of course, animals! The event is free to the public. 

North Camden Harvest Festival

When: Saturday, October 29, 1 – 4 pm
Where: North Camden Community Gardens
Enjoy a pumpkin patch, goodie bags, fresh produce, bean bag toss and face painting while learning about urban gardening in Camden. 

Maple Shade Halloween Parade

When: Saturday, October 29, 2:15 – 3 pm
Where: Maple Shade
Line up from Steinhauer School to Lippincott Ave, along Main Street for a spooky procession. Beforehand, join the costume contest at the elementary school at 1:15.

Alloway Halloween Parade

When: Saturday, October 29, 7 pm
Where: Alloway
Check out floats, antique vehicles, parade queens, horses, costumes & more. The parade starts at the Alloway Municipal Complex, then down South Greenwhich St, East Main St, Dorrell Lane and Alloway Friesburg Road. 

Voorhees Halloween Fall Festival

When: Saturday, October 29, 1 – 4 pm
Where: Voorhees
Enjoy food trucks, hayrides, pumpkins, vendors, bounce houses, a magic show, a petting zoo and a Halloween parade. 

Trunk or Treat

When: Saturday, October 29, 2 – 4:30 pm
Where: Delran Community Park
Come together for candy, activities, a costume contest, a car decorating contest and more. Organizers request you contribute by bringing treats for other kids to trick or treat at your car as well! Register your car ahead of time online. 

North Wildwood Trunk-or-Treat Halloween Block Party

When: Saturday, October 29, 5:30 – 7 pm
Where: Olde New Jersey Avenue, North Wildwood
Come for music, magic, balloons, and more. Children will come in costume and visit each car where families will provide treats from the trunks of their cars. Preregister online beforehand. 

Pumpkin Patch Party

When: Saturday, October 29, 11 am – 2 pm
Where: Downtown Vineland
Dress in costume for some free candy, prizes, games, and more in the pumpkin patch. 

Katz JCC Fall Festival

When: Sunday, October 30, 12:30 – 4 pm
Where: JCC Camps at Medford
Gather the whole family for a day of rock climbing, zip lines, pumpkin painting, music, mini-golf, inflatables, vendors, food trucks and more. Tickets cost $15 for children, $10 for adults ahead of time, or $20 for children, $15 for adults on the day of.
