South Jersey Holiday Light Show

When: Friday, November 18
Where: Swedesboro
Kick off the holidays with the opening night of the South Jersey Holiday Light Show. Pack up your hot chocolate and holiday snacks in the car as you take in hundreds of larger-than-life holidays-themed, synched light displays spanning more than a mile. Tickets cost $25 per car. 

Gratitude Fest

When: Saturday, November 19, 10 am – 3 pm
Where: The Wildwoods
Bundle up for an outdoor festival down the Shore featuring artists, creatives and vendors. 

Kids Coding Class

When: Saturday, November 19, 11 am – 12:15 pm
Where: Evesham Library
 
Join the Marlton Kids Tech Club for a kid-friendly crash course in coding & more. The event is for kids ages 5 – 12, no experience required. Bring your own computer or device that can run MIT Scratch, or check out a Chromebook or Samsun Galaxy tablet at the library. 

Horse and Carriage Rides

When: Saturday, November 19, 12 – 3 pm
Where: Ocean City 
Get in the holiday spirit with a weekend horse and carriage ride through Ocean City. Catch them for free in front of City Hall at 9th and Asbury

Aquarist for the Day

When: Saturday, November 19, 10 am – 3 pm
Where: The Wetlands Institute, Stone Harbor
Learn what it takes to be an aquarist for the day as you join the hands-on team of experts at the Wetlands Institute. Take care of local animals, hike through the wetlands, explore and craft. Dress for the weather — it’s rain or shine!

Bald Eagle Walk

When: Saturday, November 19, 10 am – 1 pm
Where: Maurice River Bluffs Preserve
Join the South Jersey Land & Water Trust on a hike along the Maurice River to learn about plants and wildlife – including bald eagles! Cost is $3, and RSVPs are encouraged. 

Craft Fair

When: Saturday, November 19
Where: Egg Harbor
Head to Egg Harbor Township High School for a Holiday Craft Fair featuring over 65 vendors selling pottery, jewelry, scents, clothing, candles and more. 

Earlier than the Bird Shopping Extravaganza 

When: Saturday, November 19, 9 am – 5 pm
Where: Ocean City 
Make your way to downtown Ocean City for a jumpstart on your holiday shopping while you enjoy special events, pricing and activities at local shops.
