By Elyse Notarianni

The Skirmish

When: Saturday, June 4
Where: Haddonfield
The British are coming! Haddonfield’s annual Skirmish is back, which means a day of Revolutionary activities like a yelling content, colonial dancing, historic tours of the tavern, pillory prisoners, character re-enactors, and — the main event — the Skirmish! Watch a reenactment of Continental troops challenging the British forces just as they did 244 years ago in June 1778. Festivities start at 9 am on Kings Highway, and the Skirmish begins at 2. The event is free and open to the public.

Town-Wide Yard Sale

When: Saturday, June 4, 8 am – 2 pm
Where: Collingswood
For anyone who loves a good yard sale, you’ll go nuts over this massive, town-wide yard sale in Collingswood. Hosted by the Proud Neighbors of Collingswood volunteer organization, you’ll be able to snag some awesome finds all across the town from 8 am – 2 pm. Check here for a full list of participating streets.

Mt. Laurel Farmers Market

When: Sunday, June 5, 9 am – 2 pm
Where: Mt. Laurel
Grab some Jersey-fresh produce at the Mt. Laurel Farmers’ Market opening day of their very first year. There will be a ribbon-cutting at 9 am, and you’ll even be able to pet some horses visiting for the occasion. After shopping, feel free to stick around for an outdoor community yoga class for all levels.

Summer Shell-A-Bration

When: Friday, June 3 – Sunday, June 5
Where: Adventure Aquarium, Camden
Head to the aquarium for a Shell-A-Bration to meet some of Camden’s resident turtles, see a sea turtle feeding, meet with biologists, play games and go on a limited-addition “Top of Ocean Realm” tour, where you can see a brand new angle of your favorite exhibit. The event goes through June 26.

New Jersey Renaissance Faire

When: Friday, June 3 – Sunday, June 5
Where: Liberty Lake Day Camp in Bordentown
