Luca Zadeh is about to see his face up in lights – big lights.
A photo of the 9-year-old Voorhees native and his siblings was selected from more than 2,000 entries to be featured in a video that will play on the giant TV screen in Time Square on Saturday starting at 10 am. The video was put together by the National Down Syndrome Society, who asked for photos of people with Down syndrome who live active lifestyles. Nine-year-old Luca is one of 400 people who will be featured in the video.
The presentation of the video is followed by the Society’s 22nd Annual Flagship Buddy Walk – the first of hundreds of Buddy Walk events held across the country throughout October, which is National Down Syndrome Month.
