24 ways to practice self-care during the holidays

We’re not saying this list will set you up for a no-stress November (let’s face it, that’s probably impossible), but it will help you get a little closer.

Go for a drive

Pretend you’re an extra in Bridgerton (and spend the day promenading and drinking tea)

Have a staycation with your girls

Listen to some live music

Schedule a massage (or a facial)

Make a list of things you’re grateful for

Cozy up with a warm drink at a local coffee shop

Call a friend

Drink water

Take a walk while listening to your favorite playlist or podcast

Schedule that doctor’s appointment you’ve been putting off

Try a new recipe (like this cozy tomato sauce from Toni Farmer)

Buy yourself some flowers

Write about your day and your feelings

Try some positive affirmations

Make a mug of hot chocolate – with marshmallows – and stream your favorite movie

Eat a balanced diet

Buy a plant for your home

Make a schedule for your upcoming week

Go through your closet and make as many new outfits as you can

Take an early break and head to happy hour

Put the screens away for a full hour

Go to bed early

Try a new workout
