Merchantville Monsterville

Where: Merchantville Market off Centre
Head to The Mile for live music, performances, food trucks, storytime, tricks & treats at one of the last oogie boogie bazaars of the season! 

Stargazing Party

When: Friday, October 21, 7 – 9:30 pm
Where: Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge
Look up at the stars at this family-friendly stargazing event, which will include refreshments, kids’ activities and more. 

Sherlock Holmes Weekend

When: Friday, October 21 – Sunday, October 23
Where: Cape May
Head to Cape May with a sense of adventure and a healthy dose of skepticism for the iconic weekend in Cape May. Enjoy performances, activities, tours and more.

Monster Bash

When Saturday, October 22, 10 am – 5 pm
Where: The Village Greene, Historic Smithville
You used to know it as the Smithville Zombie walk, but don’t worry – same vibe, new name. Get spooky with vendors, live music, special guests, a costume contest and more. 

Made in Jersey Festival

When: Saturday, October 22, 11 am – 6 pm
Where: Wiggins Waterfront Park and Marina, Camden
It’s our favorite type of celebration – all about New Jersey! Enjoy live music, family activities, Jersey-made wine and beer and food made from Jersey-fresh ingredients like tomatoes, peaches and corn. 

Owl-O-Ween Trick-or-Treating

When: Saturday, October 22, 4 – 7 pm
Where: Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge
Get wild with trick-or-treating in the wildlife housing area of the refuge. Enjoy a costume contest, Halloween-themed crafts and games, campfires, s’mores, food trucks and more. Cost is $13 per adult, $10 per child ages 4-12, free for kids under 3. Proceeds benefit the Refuge’s work with South Jersey animals in need. 

Dog Day and Howl-O-Ween Parade

When: Saturday, October 22, 9 am – 5 pm
Where: Ocean City Boardwalk
Bring your pup (dressed in costume, of course!) for a stroll along the boards. There will be dog-specific vendors, photo-op stations and the Humane Society’s exciting Ocean City “Pet of the Year” announcement. Philadelphia Flyers Bernie Parent and his wife, Gini and dog, Sophia, will be grand marshals for the parade, which starts at 3 pm. 

Woodbury Hispanic Heritage Festival

When: Sunday, October 23, 12 – 5 pm
Where: Woodbury, 115 s Broad Street
Be a part of Woodbury’s first annual Hispanic Heritage Festival to enjoy music, activities, food, vendors, dancing and more. 

Cape May Halloween Parade

When: Sunday, October 23 at 3 pm
Where: Cape May
Get dressed up in your spookiest costume and enjoy the Halloween parade. It begins at Perry Street and Carpenders Lane, through Carpenters Lane to Ocean Street, then Washington Street to the finale at Emlen Physick Estate. 

Witches Day Out

When: Sunday, October 23, 12 – 5 pm
Where: Historic Smithville
Calling all witches – dress up in your witch hats and pointy-toed boots and make your way out to the Smithville Inn for activities, a scavenger hunt, raffles and a parade.

Jeep Invasion

When: Sunday, October 23, 10 am – 5 pm
Where: Ocean City Boardwalk
Jeeps are taking over the boards in Ocean City! Come see the jeep parade down the boards, then stick around for judging and awards.
