NJ Jeep Beach Invasion
When: Friday – Sunday, July 15 – 17
Where: Wildwood
It’s the largest gathering of Jeeps in the Northeast. See 2,500 jeeps parked on the beach for this 3-day event in Wildwood. Friday night will feature a “Back the Blue” fundraiser at Naval Air Station Wildwood from 6 – 10 pm. Donation for the fundraiser is $10.
Glassboro Art Festival
When: Saturday, July 16, 5 pm – 10 pm
Where: Glassboro
Head to Rowan Boulevard and the Town Square to enjoy festival food and games while you see local glassblowers, sculptors, painters, metal smiths, wood-workers and other artists create works right in front of you.
Butterfly Festival
When: Saturday, July 16, 12 – 4 pm
Where: Whitall House / Red Bank Battlefield
Fly into some fun at the Gloucester County Cultural & Heritage Commission Butterfly Festival to see artists workshops, vendors, a walk-through butterfly house and more. All ages welcome. Rain date on Sunday, July 17.
5K Run / 1 Mile Walk
When: Saturday, July 16
Where: North Wildwood
Help raise money for survivors of police and firefighters who have died in the line of duty at the Sun and Sand Police & Fire survivors 5K Run / 1 Mile Walk. Start time is at 8am at the Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge on 1st & Olde New Jersey Avenues. Registration is $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile Walk.
Taco Palooza
When: Saturday, July 16, 11 am
Where: Sewell
Grab a — you guessed it — taco (and other awesome bites) at Sewell’s food truck festival, featuring live music, games, vendors, drinks and more.
Spacepark360
When: Sunday, July 17, 3 – 4 pm
Where: Rowan University Ric and Jean Edelman Planetarium
Did you catch NASA’s new galaxy photos? Take your peek into space a step further with Spacepark360 virtual show at the Ric and Jean Edelman Planetarium at Rowan University. Feel what it’s like on lots of amusement thrill rides – rollercoasters, pendulums, you get the idea. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for seniors 60+, children under 16 and Rowan students with a valid ID.
Ocean City Pops Presents…
When: Sunday, July 17
Where: Ocean City Music Pier
The Ocean City Pops perform a wide variety of music for all ages throughout the summer. Get ready to feel like you’re in a movie soundtrack with this week’s special concert, Star Wars and Beyond, featuring music from Star Wars, Jurassic Park, E.T. and more. The show starts at 7:30 pm at The Ocean City Music Pier, and ticket prices range from $20-$30.
LBI Art Festival
When: Sunday, July 17
Where: Long Beach Island
Enjoy fine arts and crafts vendors from 10 am – 4 pm under the water tower at Harvey Cedars Sunset Park on Long Beach Island.
