Happy Halloween! Almost. Luckily, we don’t have to wait for the holiday to do some spooky celebrating. Check out these Halloween events you can’t miss.

Moorestown House Decorating Contest

Oct. 19-31

Cast your votes for the best “dressed” building in Moorestown during the 2nd annual house decorating contest. The public is invited to vote for their favorites in categories including “Spookiest,” “Best Skeleton Scene” and “Most Haunted Business.” For more information and voting, visit the website

Owl-o-ween at Cedar Run 

Oct. 19 

Halloween is getting wild with trick-or-treating and more fun at Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge. Get in the spirit with a Halloween movie, costume contest, games and food from 4 to 7 pm. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $12 for children 4 to 12. For more information, visit the website

Movie Night on the Square

Oct. 25 

Bring the whole family to Haddon Square for an outdoor screening of “The Addams Family” – featuring hot cocoa and popcorn. The movie starts at 6 pm. For more information, visit the website

Halloween and Fall Festival

Oct. 26 

What do you get when you put Halloween and fall fun together? A wonderful weekend in Voorhees. Check out bounce houses, food vendors, a costume parade, pumpkins, a petting zoo and much more at this family-friendly event hosted from 1 to 4 pm at the Voorhees Town Center. Howl-O-Ween Parade

Haunted Haddon Market

Oct. 26

Spend a spooky evening sitting by the fire or browsing vendors or jamming out to a DJ during Haddon Township’s night market. The night will also feature kids’ activities. The free event runs from 4 to 8 pm at Haddon Square. For more information, visit the website

Witch’s Day Out 

Oct. 27 

Get decked out in your finest witch’s attire and head to Historic Smithville for a day of witchy fun, featuring a scavenger hunt, a parade, activities and raffles. The free event runs from noon to 5 pm. For more information, visit the website.
