What are the Women of Excellence Awards?

SJ Magazine has created the Women of Excellence Awards to honor the passion, dedication and actions of notable South Jersey women.

How many Women of Excellence will be selected?

Six women will be selected for honor in six categories: Lifetime Legacy, Woman to Watch (under age 30), Inspiration, Leadership, Game Changer and Business Excellence. See the criteria for each award.

How are the awardees chosen?

A committee of seven distinguished leaders in South Jersey will review the nominations and select the honorees.

When and where will the Women of Excellence Award winners be announced?

Winners will be announced in the May issue of SJ Magazine (The Women’s Issue). Each awardee will be recognized and celebrated at a reception in the fall.

What will the honorees receive?

SJ Magazine will profile winners in the May issue (The Women’s Issue). Honorees will also be recognized and celebrated at an awards reception in the fall.

Who can be nominated?

Any woman living or working in Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland, Atlantic, Ocean and Cape May counties.

How do I nominate someone?

Nominations can only be made online. Place your nomination here.

When is the nomination deadline?

5 pm on February 8, 2023.

Can I nominate myself?

Yes.

Do I need to submit a photograph of my nominee?

No. SJ Magazine will take care of photographing all honorees.

Can I nominate more than one woman?

Yes. There is no limit to how many nominations can be made by one person.
