South Jersey has an abundance of talent, and these local authors have written some page-turners you won’t want to put down.
Pam Jenoff
The New York Times best-selling novelist, SJ local and author of “Orphan’s Tale,” Jenoff writes about ordinary women set against the backdrop of World War II and the Holocaust. Her critically acclaimed novels have garnered accolades across the country. Read our interview with Jenoff, or come hear her speak during our third Women’s Empowerment Panel on Nov. 13.
Stan & Lee Molotsky
Stan and Lee Molotsky of SHM Financial know that planning matters. The two have penned “Exit Strategies For Secure Retirement” for those looking for tried-and-true financial advice. The best part: all proceeds go to a special needs programming endowment fund.
Daniel J. Waters
Looking for a thriller to kick back with on the beach? “Surf City Confidential” takes off when a battered body is found on a New Jersey beach. When it turns out the body is the son of a prominent mafia boss, the police chief is pressured to close the case. That is until one of Philadelphia’s first female beat cops get involved, and the story takes a series of twists and turns.
The American soccer player, two-time Olympic gold medalist, FIFA Women’s World Cup champion, and 2015 and 2016 FIFA Player of the Year is also an author. Her book, “When Nobody Was Watching: My Hard-Fought Journey to the Top of the Soccer World,” explores her inspiring career (read an excerpt here). You can also check out one of our interviews with Lloyd or come hear her speak during our Women’s Empowerment Panel on Sept. 12.
Carol Plum-Ucci
