Power couples aren’t just defined by success, influence or shared ambition – they’re the partners who, together, amplify each other’s impact. They pursue individual goals but remain united by a common purpose that reaches beyond themselves. They prove that when two people move in the same direction with intention, entire communities can move with them.

Business

Mindy Holman & Frank Beideman

For Mindy Holman and Frank Beideman, leadership isn’t just about steering one of South Jersey’s most recognizable family businesses – it’s about lifting others along the way. As chair of Holman, Mindy represents the 3rd generation of family leadership guiding the global automotive company’s 6 lines of business. Frank, Holman’s Vice President of Resource Development, works closely with community partners and leads philanthropic initiatives that strengthen the region they call home.

Their story began decades ago when Mindy was assigned to the same dealership where Frank worked – a professional connection that grew into a lifelong partnership built on shared values.

“We were good friends first,” Mindy says. “He really brought out the best in me.”

That mutual respect has defined their relationship ever since, both personally and professionally.

At the heart of their shared vision is Holman’s purpose: to provide people with rewarding careers and a better life for their families.

“That’s not just a slogan on the wall,” Frank says. “It’s something we live every day.”

Together, they’ve championed initiatives that empower employees, from volunteer programs to charitable giving that echoes throughout South Jersey.

Now empty nesters with 3 grown children, Mindy and Frank find even more time to give back – through board service, church leadership and their unwavering support of UrbanPromise and United Way. Still, they remain humble about the label often applied to them.

“We’re more of an empower couple – focused on helping others make a difference,” says Mindy.

Community Advocacy

Suzanne & Damien Ghee

Suzanne and Damien Ghee stand out as a couple whose shared purpose amplifies their individual strengths. Together, they’ve built not only a life rooted in love and family but a partnership defined by impact.

Suzanne, founder and CEO of Thrive Public Affairs, is a nationally-recognized community health leader who has spent two decades advancing health equity and social impact. From pioneering Virtua Health’s Mobile Farmers Market – now the largest of its kind in the country – to chairing the Cherry Hill Free Clinic and serving on the Food Bank of South Jersey’s board, her work reflects a lifelong mission: ensuring everyone has the opportunity to live their healthiest life possible.

Damien, recently appointed Commercial Market Manager for Citizens Bank, brings the same commitment to his professional and philanthropic efforts. A Camden native, he has dedicated his career to increasing access to banking and affordable housing, serving on boards like HopePHL and the Virtua Health Foundation, where he helps lead initiatives that expand food access and strengthen local communities.

What makes the Ghees a true power couple isn’t just their professional success – it’s the way they show up for one another, intentionally aligning their goals and lifting each other higher.

“We talk a lot about our vision at the start of each year,” Suzanne says. “It’s not just resolutions – it’s about what we want to build, together.”

That spirit of mutual encouragement is woven into everything they do. When Suzanne contemplated launching her own firm, Damien championed the leap.

“I knew she’d thrive,” he says. “I just wanted to give her the space and support to realize it.”

Media & Health

Rick Williams & Jocelyn Mitchell-Williams, MD

Before he became the familiar face delivering Philadelphia’s nightly news, Rick Williams was simply a charismatic emcee at a community banquet – and that’s where fate stepped in. At the Cherry Hill Hilton, long before his Action News fame, Rick met a young medical student named Jocelyn Mitchell.

Twenty-five years later, that chance encounter has grown into a marriage defined by shared purpose, mutual respect and a deep commitment to serving others.

Rick Williams, now one of 6abc’s most trusted anchors, has spent more than 2 decades informing and inspiring viewers across the Delaware Valley. Beyond the newsroom, he’s a steadfast community advocate, serving on boards such as Philadelphia Futures and the Moorestown Theater Company, where he even takes the stage alongside family and friends. His calm presence and compassion extend far beyond the camera lens.

Jocelyn Mitchell-Williams, MD, PhD has built an equally powerful legacy in medicine and education. As Senior Associate Dean of Medical Education at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, she leads initiatives that open doors for underrepresented students and improve health equity in Camden and beyond. Her tireless advocacy for fairness and inclusion has touched countless lives – often with the same humility that defines her marriage.

Together, Rick and Jocelyn are proof that influence doesn’t require spotlight or spectacle. Their bond thrives on shared values – service, compassion and faith – and their love story continues to ripple through their community in quiet but lasting ways.

“I just want to make sure I’m doing everything I can to be a good person and to help others,” says Jocelyn. “It’s important to me that our children understand

life isn’t about how much you have, but about how much you can give.”

Philanthropy

Nate & Paris Wright

It started with a 6 am workout. Paris wasn’t sure anyone would actually show up that early – but Nate did, every time, even waiting outside her dorm when she overslept. From those early mornings at the University of Kansas to faculty meetings and fundraising galas in Camden, the Wrights have built a life defined by dedication – to each other, to education and to the communities they serve.

Nate Wright, an associate professor of public policy and administration at Rutgers University-Camden, brings a scholar’s focus to questions of philanthropy and social change. His research explores how nonprofits and advocacy groups create sustainable, equitable neighborhoods. Paris, Associate Director of Leadership Gifts at Princeton University, approaches those same questions through action – raising funds to expand access to education and opportunity.

The Wrights combine intellect and empathy, strategy and heart in ways that extend far beyond their titles. Whether mentoring youth through their church or championing local initiatives, they see service as both a calling and a collaboration.

“We both grew up in poverty, and I think for us, it’s really about paving the way for future generations,” says Paris. “Education was our way out. And we want to help others find that same path.”

Public Service

David & Jen Fleisher

When Jen and David Fleisher talk about public service, it isn’t with the rhetoric of politics – it’s with the warmth of 2 people who view community as an extension of their family. The Cherry Hill couple has spent decades shaping the civic and social landscape of South Jersey, each carving their own path while always walking forward together.

They met at Ithaca College, both already leading and collaborating, unaware they were beginning a 35-year partnership rooted in trust, humor and service. That foundation has only strengthened with time.

Today, David serves as Mayor of Cherry Hill, focused on strategic growth, open space preservation, and responsible government. Jen a Camden County Commissioner, works to ensure residents have access to vital education and support – particularly in the areas of addiction awareness and youth development.

Their influence reaches beyond titles. Whether building the Cherry Hill Library, expanding parks, supporting students, or serving veterans, they believe leadership should uplift others and create spaces where people are seen and valued.

“We both believe in getting things done,” says Jen and their track record proves it.

Their secret? Balance. They remain each other’s sounding board – equal parts cheerleader and honest critic. When one is leading from the front, the other manages the home front. Now empty nesters, they are fully committed to this next chapter of service.

The Fleishers remain determined to lead differently – together.

“Public service for us was never about personal ambition,” says David. “We are determined to do our part to bring our community together.”
