It’s time to watch the night sky light up with fireworks as we honor Independence Day. Put on your red, white and blue; grab your blanket; and head out with your friends and family to enjoy these spectacular South Jersey celebrations.

 

Location: Bordentown Township

Date: June 30
The celebration begins at 7 pm with music, vendors and activities for everyone. Then, the fireworks display at sundown.

 

Location: Medford

Date: July 1
Head over to Medford’s Freedom Park for a family-friendly celebration, featuring a kids’ activity zone, live music and lots of food. The festivities begin at 6 pm, with the fireworks show beginning at dusk.

 

Location: Woodbury

Date: July 1
The Independence Day fun begins at 4 pm at Woodbury High School Stadium, where there will be inflatables for kids and teens, and a performance by the Party Wave Band. There will also be vendors selling food, and the fireworks display will begin at sunset.

 

Location: Mount Holly

Date: July 2
Mount Holly’s night of celebration begins at 5 pm with performances, food and free rides for the community to enjoy. Then, as the night continues, watch more performances from The Counterfeiters, The ShoreSyde Duo and Dayna Fisher The Hoop Ninja before the fireworks display at sundown.

 

Location: Stone Harbor

Date: July 2
Live jazz and blues music begins at 7:30 pm at the 95th Street Beach Pavilion. Fireworks begin at 9:30 pm and can be viewed from and beach.

 

Location: Haddonfield

Dates: July 3 & 4
This South Jersey town will celebrate the holiday over two days. On July 3, head to Haddonfield Memorial High School to catch a performance by The Shore Thing at 7:30 pm. The concert will wrap up at 9:30 so the fireworks display can begin.

The town’s Independence Day parade will be held on July 4, beginning at 10 am at the corner of King’s Highway and Chestnut Street. The parade will travel to Haddonfield Memorial High School, where the winning groups and floats will be announced.

 

Location: Atlantic City

Date: July 4
Atlantic City will put on two fireworks displays at 9 pm at the Borgata in the Marina District and at 10 pm on the boardwalk at the Tropicana.

 

Location: Avalon

Date: July 4
The festivities kick off at 7 pm as the Bay-Atlantic Symphony performs inside Avalon Community Hall. After the concert, head out to 30th Street beach to catch the fireworks display at 9:15 pm.

 

Location: Audubon

Date: July 4
The Fourth of July parade begins at 8:30 am at Paris Avenue, followed by athletic events on the high school football field at 10:45 am. At noon, the fire department house will host a celebration featuring fire truck rides, food and drinks. Then, at 7:30 pm, the nighttime celebration begins at the high school football field with live music and fireworks.

 

Location: Bridgeton

Date: July 4
The fun begins at 11 am with Bridgeton’s Independence Day Horseshoe Tournament. The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 pm at Alden Field in Bridgeton City Park.

 

Location: Camden

Date: July 4
The Camden Waterfront’s Freedom Festival will from 5 to 10 pm. The night begins with a salute to U.S. veterans, then Ginger Coyle and the Peace Freqs perform at 6:30 pm followed by Michael McDonald at 8 pm. The night ends with a fireworks show over the Delaware River.

 

Location: Cape May

Date: July 4
If you’re planning to spend Independence Day down the Shore, you can catch a concert with E Street Shuffle starting at 5 pm at Harry’s. Afterward, head to Congress Beach at 9 pm to watch the hour-long fireworks show.

 

Location: Collingswood

Date: July 4
Kick off the holiday at the Independence Day-themed bike parade at 10 am. The parade will begin at at Haddon and Zane avenues, moving down Zane Avenue to Browning Road and Magill Avenue. You can then cool off at Robert’s Pool, where games and kids’ activities will kick off at 2 pm. The night will wrap up at the Collingswood High School stadium, where TO THE MAX will perform at 8 pm, followed by a fireworks display at 9:15 pm.

 

Location: Evesham

Date: July 4
This South Jersey parade along Main Street begins at 11 am. At 7 pm, head to the celebration at Cherokee High School to enjoy food truck fare and dancing. The fireworks display will begin at 9:30 pm.

 

Location: Margate

Date: July 4
Celebrate Independence Day with a beach fireworks display! The fireworks will be launched from the Huntington Avenue Beach around 9 pm.

 

Location: Moorestown

Date: July 4
Spend the holiday on Main Street in Moorestown for the town’s annual Independence Day parade. The parade – which has the theme “We The People” – begins at noon on the corner of Chester and Central avenues.

 

Location: Ocean City

Date: July 4
Participate in a kite-flying competition at 7 pm, then head to the Boardwalk to gaze at the fireworks display.

 

Location: Pitman

Date: July 4
Start the day by joining in the four-mile road race at 8:45 am outside Borough Hall. The Main Street Independence Day parade then kicks off at 10:35 am. Once night falls, wrap up the holiday by enjoying the fireworks show at Alcyon Lake Park.

 

Location: Wildwood

Date: July 4
Start the holiday with the annual Independence Day parade at 9 am. The parade begins at Ninth and Atlantic avenues and travels to First and Surf avenues. Awards will be given to the best decorated bike. The day ends with a fireworks display on the beach at Pine Avenue at 10 pm.

 

Location: Woodstown-Pilesgrove

Date: July 4
The day kicks off at 8 am with the town’s annual Firecracker 5K run or 1-mile Sparkler Fun Run, beginning at Marlton Park and traveling throughout the town. Then, follow the Fourth of July Parade to Marlton Park where the community celebrates with live music, food vendors, activities and a fireworks show.

 

Location: Washington Township

Date: July 4
The parade begins at 6:30 pm at the high school parking lot. A fireworks display follows at 9 pm.
