When Erin Fisher stood on the front lawn of her Carney’s Point home with her family, she expected to see the holiday light display her boyfriend had designed. Instead, she watched “Will you marry me?” light up the rooftop.

imageMark Seibert had set up the special message while Fisher was out with her mother. When the question lit up, Seibert got down on one knee with a ring in one hand and the couple’s almost 2-year-old son, Grayson, in the other. And she said yes.

“I was thinking, ‘There is absolutely no way this is happening,” Fisher says. “I was blown away by his creativity!”

The South Jersey natives have been together ever since they met as co-workers at Applebee’s 10 years ago. Seibert has known he wanted to propose for some time now, but he wanted the moment to be perfect.

“I knew she would definitely want our families to be there, and she loves Christmas,” Seibert says. “When everyone who lived out of town was here, I knew it was going to work out perfectly.”

There was one more requirement for a proposal: Grayson. “I told him not to even think about proposing without having Grayson involved,” Fisher says. “He was so happy, he clapped his hands and cheered!”
