Book Festival

Oct. 7

Collingswood 

Authors, publishers, illustrators and writers’ groups will line Haddon Ave. for a day of literary fun. Featuring music, food and literary games and activities, the Collingswood Book Festival returns from 10 am to 4 pm. For more information, visit the website

 

Food Truck & Fall Craft Fair

Oct. 7 

Sicklerville

Fall is in full swing just in time for Sicklerville’s Food Truck & Fall Craft Fair, featuring crafters, scarecrow making, pumpkin painting, sand art, live music, food trucks (of course!), fall photo stations and much more. Country Line Dancing

Oct. 10, 17, 24, 31 

Moorestown 

Grab your cowboy boots and turn up the music! Burlington County Agriculture Center is hosting free country line dancing classes each Tuesday from 1 to 4 pm (you can drop in any time). For more information, visit the website

 

Fall Festival

Oct. 14

Brooklawn

It’ll be a fall-filled afternoon at the Brooklawn Waterfront with food trucks, a beer garden, craft vendors, kids activities, live music and more family fun. The festival runs from 11 am to 5 pm. For more information, visit the website

 

Italian American Festival

Oct. 14 

Pennsauken 

Get in touch with your roots – or just dig into some pizza – during Camden County’s Italian American Festival at Cooper River Park. From 11 am to 4 pm, enjoy Italian cars, Italian food trucks, local wine tastings, craft beer gardens, live music and kids activities. For more information, visit the website

 

Porsche Boardwalk Reunion

Oct. 14

Ocean City 

350 Porsches. On a Boardwalk. You gotta see it. Check out Ocean City’s Porsche Boardwalk Reunion not only for the awesome cars, but also for the free tech sessions at The Music Pier. The event runs from 11:30 am to 4 pm. For more information, visit the website

 

Irish Festival

Oct. 14-15 

Smithville 

You don’t have to cross the ocean for a day full of Irish culture. Head to Historic Smithville for its two-day Irish Festival with games, music and food. The festival runs from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday and 11 am to 6 pm on Sunday. For more information, visit the website

 

Night Market

Oct. 20

Magnolia 

Time to stay up late! (Well, at least until 8:30.) Magnolia’s final night market of the year is here, with crafts, kids’ activities, beer and wine, food trucks and live music. The night runs from 4:30 to 8:30 pm at the Railroad Tracks. For more information, visit the website

 

String Band Parade

Oct. 21 

Haddonfield 

Hear the sounds and enjoy the spectacle of bands from the Philadelphia Mummers String Band Association. Camden County’s first annual String Band Parade will feature music, food, games and lots of surprises. The parade starts at Euclid and Haddon Aves..
