Things to Do in South Jersey this December

Bring on the holiday cheer! South Jersey has got meteors, food, wreaths, dancing and so much more coming your way all month long. 

 

Wildwoods Restaurant Week 

Nov. 28 – Dec. 7 

Eat your way through the cold temperatures with a week of deals at your favorite Wildwoods eateries. The specialty menus feature prix fixe breakfast for $10, lunch for $15 and dinner for $40. For participating restaurants, visit the website

 

Wreath Making Workshop

Dec. 6 

Deck your halls for the holidays with a homemade wreath that you can make during this two hour workshop at Grounds For Sculpture. All materials are provided, and the workshop runs from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Cost is $70 for members or $85 for non-members. For more information, visit the website

 

Girls’ Night Out 

Dec. 11

Move The World 

Dec. 12 

Join Perkins Center for the Arts to celebrate music, movement and storytelling of West Africa and the African Diaspora with a performance by Audrey David Dunning and her drum dance ensemble. “Irving Berlin’s White Christmas” 

Dec. 12 – 21 

Watch the holiday classic “Irving Berlin’s White Christmas” at The Broadway Theatre of Pitman. Tickets cost $30. Check website for times and tickets. 

 

Meteor Shower Watch Party 

Dec. 13

The sky will come to life during a Geminids Meteor Shower, so join Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge to watch the natural show light up the sky. The program begins at 8 pm, and costs $15 for adults. Registration is required. For more information, visit the website

 

Small Sailors Tour 

Dec. 27

Bring your little ones aboard the Battleship New Jersey for a special tour made especially for them, with stops including the engine room and gun turret with plenty of lessons along the way.
