Whether you’re looking to escape the heat or simply stay cool this summer, these South Jersey favorites have you covered.
Mt. Laurel
Slow down in the lazy river, speed up flying down the speed slide or get soaked under the giant dump bucket – all in The Funplex’s outdoor waterpark. You can also grab a snack, play a round of mini golf or head inside to play arcade, VR and laser tag games.
Bridgeton
Have fun and cool off at Bridgeton Splash Park, open seven days a week through the summer, with three two-hour sessions each day. Splash your friends with water sprayers, run through the fountains and keep the fun going in the sun.
Wildwood
Choose from two beachside water parks on Morey’s Piers, bursting with slides, rides, pools, ropes courses and more. Head to Raging Waters for a water slide and pool trail through the sky or visit Ocean Oasis for the cliff dive waterslide.
Shamong
Whether you’re swimming, kayaking or canoeing, Atsion Lake is the picturesque Piney spot you need for a break from the heat. Lounge on the lakeside beach and grab a snack from the concessions stand, which also houses changing rooms, restrooms and beach supplies for sale.
Fasola Park Splashpad
Deptford
Hit the playground without the heat at Fasola Park’s splashpad, featuring a handful of fountain sprays and a cushioned ground to keep the kids cool through the summer.
Pittsgrove
Situated on the edge of the Pinelands, Parvin Lake is a perfect spot for swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing and fishing. With a swimming beach, bathhouse, canoe rental and beach supplies at Parvin Grove, all you have to bring is the good times.
Johnson’s Corner Farm Splashpad
Medford
Head to the farm to cool off before or after you pick up some delicious treats from the market (may we recommend the Strawberry ice cream). The splashpad features three pads for different ages with fun accents like lady bug sprayers, a bucket dump pad and a fire extinguisher.
