Fallen Hero Plunge
April 5
Wake up your body, get ready for beach season and support a good cause all at the same time during the Fallen Hero Plunge in Wildwood. The plunge happens at 10:45 am on the 15th Avenue Beach in North Wildwood, followed by a post-party at Keenan’s Irish Pub. Proceeds go towards families of fallen police officers. The Phil Collins Experience
April 9
Hear that epic drum feature (you know the one) live as The Phil Collins Experience pays tribute to the music of Phil Collins and Genesis at Levoy Theatre. Doors open at 6:30 pm, with the show starting at 7:30 pm. And The Vaudeville Bar will begin service at 6:30 pm. Tickets range from $35 to $44. For more information, visit the website.
Perkins House Concert: OPA!
April 11
Join the party at Perkins Center for the Arts Moorestown as Greek party band OPA! Performs their celebration of music from Greece, the Middle East and Balkan countries. Renaissance Faire
April 12 & 13
Knights, jesters, royalty and more are taking over Historic Smithville for a weekend of the English Renaissance. Stop by for acrobatic shows, sword fighting, comedy, song and dance. The free festival runs from 11 am to 5 pm each day. For more information, visit the website.
Doo Dah Parade
April 12
Ocean City is a dog-lover’s dream during the annual Doo Dah Parade, when more than 300 basset hounds take to the boards for an adorable parade. The parade starts at noon from 6th St. and Asbury Ave., heading to 12th St. and then up to the Boardwalk. For more information, visit the website.
Collingswood Green Festival
April 12
Eco-friendly experts and green beginners alike are invited to see all that Collingswood has to offer for living an eco-friendly lifestyle. The festival features resource booths, refreshments and live music from 9 am to 2 pm on Irving Avenue near the PATCO station. For more information, visit the website.
Easter Bunny Express
April 12 & 13; 18 & 19
Hop aboard the Woodstown Central Railroad for an excursion with the Easter Bunny. Admire beautiful South Jersey scenes as you ride along the tracks and then join an egg hunt at Fenwick Grove before riding back to the station. Small Sailors Day
April 19
Bring your small sailor aboard the Battleship New Jersey for a special day of education led by Battleship educators. The special program includes a tour of the ship’s armored citadel, engine rooms and gun turrets, plus visitors can design their own Battleship using math. Adults must stay with their children for the entire visit. The tour runs from 10 am to 11:30 am. Tickets cost $12 for adults and children 5 and up, $5 for children under 5. An Evening of Art and Wine
April 25
Art, food and wine. Enough said. Join Grounds For Sculpture for its annual fundraiser, with a docent-led tour to five sculptures with premium food and wine pairings curated by the chef and sommelier at Rat’s Restaurant.
