August may have slipped away into a moment in time, but Taylor Swift is forever. Or in Stone Harbor’s case, at least until Thanksgiving.
Swifties have a few more months to head to the Stone Harbor Museum and step into the pop sensation’s South Jersey summer childhoods. The 2024 Taylor Swift exhibit features photos of Swift vacationing in Stone Harbor as a child (provided by her family), four Midnights vinyls, a Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour concert film poster and a Taylor Swift-inspired Peter Max poster.
The museum, which has free admission, is paying homage to Swift’s Stone Harbor summers, where she visited with her family from 1992 to 2004. She even performed at Coffee Talk as a teenager, and her father Scott was an EMT with the Stone Harbor Volunteer Fire Company No. 1.
The museum hopes to stay open, with the 2024 Taylor Swift collection on display, into the off-season. The museum is run by volunteers and relies on donations. It’s open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9 am to noon.
