Open your calendar and start reserving some dates! The upcoming South Jersey summer is packed with fun festivals to brighten any summer day.  


Freedom Festival
July 3
Wiggins Park at the Camden Waterfront
Begins at 5 pm | Free
Don’t miss: Independence Day celebration with live musical acts, including Gin Blossoms. Fireworks begin at 9:30 pm.

County Fair
July 9 – 13
Cumberland County Fairgrounds
Hours vary | Free
Don’t miss: 4-H fair featuring livestock, carnival rides, food & fireworks  

Sand Sculpting Festival
July 12
Heather Rd. Beach in Wildwood
9 am – 2 pm | Free
Don’t miss: Incredible sand sculpting competition, live music, beach games and family entertainment.

Jeep Invasion
July 12 – 14
On the beach between Andrews & Cresse Aves.
Fri. & Sat., 9 am – 5 pm | Sun., 9 am – 1 pm  | Free
Don’t miss: Jeeps, vendors and a beach obstacle course. 


Caribbean Festival
July 13
Camden Waterfront Stadium
2 – 8 pm | Free
Don’t miss: A celebration of Caribbean culture with steel pans, reggae and latin bands plus food vendors and children’s activities.

Haddonfield Crafts & Fine Arts Festival
July 13 – 14
Along Kings Hwy.
11 am – 7 pm on Sat./10 am – 5 pm on Sunday | Free
Don’t miss: A curated selection of artists and crafters plus the new Emerging Artists Area on Kings Court.


Farm Fair
July 16 – 20
Burlington County Fairgrounds
4 – 10:30 pm | Free
Don’t miss: Agricultural fair featuring livestock, farm products, tractor pulls and kids can become a “farmer for a day.”

Harvey Cedars Arts Festival
July 21
Harvey Cedars Sunset Park
10 am – 4 pm | Free
Don’t miss: Paintings, pottery, fiber art, photography, jewelry and woodworking on display and for sale by local artists and artists from along the East Coast.

Crafts & Fine Arts Festival
Aug. 17 – 18
Along Haddon Ave. in Collingswood
10 am – 5 pm | Free
Don’t miss: Folklife tents, family crafting, craft and art demonstrations plus a raffle for pieces donated by the festival’s artists. Raffle benefits the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey.

Women’s Equality Day Festival
Aug. 24
Paulsdale, Mt. Laurel
Noon – 3 pm | Free
Don’t miss: Held outside the home of suffragist Alice Paul, the festival features women-owned businesses, food trucks, music and lawn games.
