South Jersey Spots to celebrate the New Year

Can’t make it to midnight? Bring the little ones to the M. Allan Vogelson Library in Voorhees for a celebration featuring story time, games, crafts, snacks and a countdown to noon with noisemakers and party hats. The whole shore town comes to life as everyone counts down to midnight. Events around town include ice skating, live music, trivia game shows, lego activities, karaoke, a drone show and much more. Maple Shade

Avoid a late night with Maple Shade’s noon-year’s eve party at the Maple Shade Municipal Building. The party runs from 10:30 am to 1 pm, and tickets are available for purchase at the Municipal Building. For more information, visit the website.

New Years on the Battleship

Camden

Watch the sky over the Delaware River light up from the deck of the Battleship New Jersey during two New Year’s Eve fireworks shows. The first show starts at 6 pm (entry at 4 pm) and the second begins at midnight (entry at 10 pm). Tickets cost $10. Maple Shade
