Unlock the ocean 

May 26 

Have you ever wanted to run into the Atlantic Ocean in a full suit? Well, if you’re anything like us, you’ve never thought about it, but now that you know you can, you absolutely have to do it. Join Ocean City’s Unlocking of the ocean, where people dress in full office attire – briefcases included – and jump into the water to welcome the new beach season. Watch a rockin’ musical

May 26 – 28

It’s time to rock at Ritz Theatre Co.’s performance of “School of Rock The Musical.” Performances start at 8 pm on Friday and Saturday, and at 2 pm on Sunday. Tickets range from $27 to $47. For more information, visit the website.  

 

Find art at Collingswood’s May Fair 

May 27 

The 42nd Annual May Fair is bringing art, food, live performances and more to Collingswood. Walk the mile-long collection of artists and crafters selling their works, stop by the food courts for a taste of Collingswood’s restaurant row and take the kids to the “KidZone” for carnival games, rides and kid-friendly crafters. Play pretend at Fantasy AdventureFest

May 27 & 28 

Adventure is coming to Historic Smithville as Riddlesbrood Touring Theatre Troupe presents their Fantasy AdventureFest, featuring live performances including an original musical, “Peter Pan and the Pirates,” vendors selling fantasy and adventure themed art and collectibles and an interactive tea with Alice and the Mad Hatter (seatings at 10 am and 11:30 am on Saturday and Sunday). Cheer on NCAA rowers 

May 26 – 28

The NCAA Women’s Rowing Championships are coming to South Jersey. Watch as the top college rowing teams compete along the Cooper River for the title of champion. Races run from 9 am to 5 pm each day. For more information, visit the website

May 28 

There’s nothing quite like s’mores and stargazing by the campfire to round out your Memorial Day Weekend. Head to Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge for this unique event, running from 8 to 9:30 pm.
