New Places in South Jersey to visit

Whether it’s new flavors or new fandoms, South Jersey is buzzing with up-and-coming businesses that make a splash and become staples in no time. Check out some new spots you can add to your list. 

 

Cafe 1903 

Collingswood 

This new Collingswood cafe is bringing a taste of Europe to South Jersey. With lounge chairs (you read that right!), an open garage door-style front, coffee and pastries, this former firehouse is now a European dream. 

 

Revell Hall

Burlington

Chef-owned Revell Hall is bringing bold flavors and semi-fine dining to historic Burlington with dishes like Koji Fried Chicken and the Ube Cookie Sundae.

 

The Bagel Shop

Cape May 

Five generations of bagel baking tradition opened its doors to Cape May this year. Not only are the bagels good, but some flavors feature ingredients from the family’s own garden. 

 

American Revolution Museum of Southern Jersey 

Camden 

The American Revolution Museum of Southern Jersey has finally opened its doors. Housed in Camden’s historic Benjamin Cooper House, the museum explores South Jersey’s role in the Revolution as well as shining a light on Revolutionary voices that are often overlooked in history. 

 

Austen’s Shelf 

Bordentown

Calling all romance readers – there’s a new South Jersey book stop to add to your tour. Austen’s Shelf, a regency-themed book store, opened in Bordentown with a weekend of community events that will continue in step with the store’s literary offerings. 

 

Bud’s Bagels

Medford

Medford is buzzing with news of the new bagel spot on Main St. The family-owned and operated store offers bagels, breakfast sandwiches and coffee until 3 pm every day. 

 

Aokō Matcha 

Cherry Hill 

Matcha has entered the chat thanks to this popular chain, with locations in NYC and now, Cherry Hill. The menu is packed with matcha favorites like soft serve, cakes, lattes and more for matcha maniacs. 

 

Hot Lava Pot AYCE Hot Pot & Korean BBQ 

Cherry Hill 

Grab your bestie, we’re getting hot pot. This new hot pot and K-BBQ spot brings community dining and bold flavors to Cherry Hill with dishes like spicy baby octopus and short rib. 

 

Pace Family Pizza 

Delran

The Pace family started their pizza operation out of the garage, and are now selling out at the Delran VFW (NJ food laws said they outgrew the garage space). They’re open from 5 to 8 pm on Fridays.
