8 Holiday Festivals and Markets to check out this December in South Jersey

Whether you’re holiday shopping, chasing the festive vibes or craving a cup of hot cocoa (or doing all three!), we’ve got the South Jersey stops you have to make this month. 

 

Voorhees Winter Village 

Dec. 5 

The festivities are coming to Voorhees, led by Olaf and The Grinch, a parade with Santa, a tree lighting, holiday music, craft vendors, food trucks and more. The winter village begins at 6 pm a the Voorhees Town Center. For more information, visit the website

 

Burlington County Farmers Market 

Dec. 6 

Burlington County’s Farmers Market is extending its run for a special holiday market featuring fresh pies, sauces, cut flowers, local honey, cooking demos, wreaths and centerpieces, artists and crafters and more local goodness. Kindermarkt

Dec. 6 

Let the kids do the shopping at this special children’s holiday shoppe presented by Perkins Center for the Arts. Recommended for children 4 to 11, kids will be guided through the pieces, learn about the artforms, wrap and tag their gifts to take home. Tickets cost $5 per child and include a gift. Holiday Market & Gingerbread Village 

Dec. 6 & 7 

Stop by this free market to browse crafts from local vendors, hear music and see the gingerbread village and contest. Gingerbread house workshops will be for kids and teens on Saturday and for adults on Sunday. The event runs from noon to 5 pm each day at the Noyes Arts Garage. Green Trading Post 

Dec. 6 & 7

Holidays at HenVille 

Dec. 7, 14, 21

Holiday Open Studios 

Dec. 13 

Watch artists demonstrate their techniques during Holiday Open Studios at SoHa Arts Building in Haddon Township.
