Amico Island Park Clean-up
April 12
Help Burlington County keep Amico Island clean with a day of picking up litter. Bags, gloves and grabbers will be provided. The event runs from 9 am to noon, starting at 81 Norman Ave. in Delran. Citizen Science: Frog Watch USA
Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge
April 12
Become an advocate for the frogs of South Jersey during Cedar Run’s FrogWatch USA volunteer training. During the training, participants will learn how to identify local frog species by their distinct calls, record observations and monitor frog populations in nearby wetlands and habitats to be a certified FrogWatch USA volunteer. The event is geared for ages 8 and up, and costs $15 for adults and $10 for children. The program starts at 7 pm. For more information, visit the website.

Center for Environmental Transformation
April 12
The Center for Environmental Transformation hosts its monthly volunteer day, where visitors can join from 9:45 am to 12:45 pm to help with work projects in the gardens. The event is hosted at the gardens at 1729 Ferry Ave. For more information, visit the website.
Black Run Preserve Clean-up Day
April 26
Visit – and help clean up – Black Run Preserve during their community clean-up day. Volunteers will help with light trail maintenance and trash pick-up around the Southern end of the preserve, and are asked to bring work gloves, garden trowels, insect repellant and a wheelbarrow if available. “Christmas in Spring”
American Littoral Society
April 27
Place recycled Christmas trees at the Slade Dale Nature Preserve to help protect the marsh with the American Littoral Society. The event runs from 11 am to 3 pm, and all you have to bring is yourself. For more information and to RSVP, visit the website.
