Jon Dorenbos has overcome a lot to be where he is today. Despite childhood tragedy, he decided to keep a positive attitude and give back using the success he worked so hard for. That big heart has earned Dorenbos a nomination for the NFL’s 2016 Walter Payton Man of the Year award, a recognition of a player’s excellence on and off the field.
Instead of establishing a foundation, the Eagles’ long snapper donates his time to help children and abused women. In a thank-you video on Twitter, Dorenbos explains how you can work with him to give back.
The 2016 Walter Payton Man of the Year winner will be announced on February 4 during the NFL Honors.
