Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos had one last great trick up his sleeve. The Eagles veteran shot to stardom performing magic tricks on this season of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” and last night he performed as one of 10 finalists.
“I just want people to have fun,” Dorenbos has said about why he likes magic tricks and slight of hand. “Magic is just cool and that’s what it’s been my whole life. I want to bring the energy.”
And he always has – but he also added some inspiration to the fun on Tuesday night, when he spoke of how magic saved his life while he performed for the judges, who praised Dorenbos both for his trick and for his words.
Dorenbos’ teammates and other Philadelphia sports teams took to Twitter last night to lend their support and encourage fans to vote for Dorenbos. Voting was open from 8 pm on Tuesday night until 8 am on Wednesday morning, and the winner will be announced on tonight’s season finale.
