When Doug Pederson was hired as the Eagles head coach in January 2016, a national newspaper ranked him 7th out of 7 NFL head coaching hires at that time. “Sorry, Eagles Fans” one headline blared. Said another story: “Pederson is the least qualified to be an NFL head coach.”

Well, so much for the experts. Two years later, three of those hired in 2016 have been fired. The three others? All three had losing records in 2017.

And today, Pederson, who lives in Moorestown with his wife Jeannie and their family, and the Eagles land in Minneapolis to get ready to play the mighty New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.
