At the Pro Football Hall of Fame 2018 Enshrinement weekend in Canton, Eagles safety Brian Dawkins is center stage.
Of all the members of this year’s class, Dawkins is a quintessential Hall of Famer – class, character and leadership on and off the field.
Yesterday, he received his Gold Jacket. This evening, enshrinement with a bust that is designed to last 40,000 years.
Think about this: Of all the millions of young men who have played the great game of American football, there will be after tomorrow night only 182 living Hall of Famers. Dawkins will be a member of that exclusive fraternity.
