South Jersey Native Christina Grimmie to be Honored with Wishwall

A Wishwall art installation honoring slain performer, The Voice contestant and Marlton native Christina Grimmie will be unveiled at 12:30 pm this Saturday at the Evesham Library.

The Wishwall Foundation joined forces with Girl Talk Marlton to honor Grimmie, who was killed in Florida earlier this year while signing autographs for fans.SJ Magazine interviewed Grimmie back in 2014, when she was a finalist on The Voice.

Those visiting the Wishwall will be able to write their wishes on paper and post them to the wall – a physical board designed and decorated by a local artist. After the wishes are collected, The Wishwall Foundation will review them and choose a special wish to grant. Organizers from the organization hope the installation will “represent a clear message of hope and peace against violence and hate in the world.”
