South Jersey’s Latest Outdoor Exhibit Imagines Earth Without Art

The world without art is just eh, right? Well that’s what Washington Township thinks, and that’s why it launched its first public art exhibit.

Local artists – 46 of them – submitted pieces representing nature around the theme of “eARTh without ART is just eh.” Each piece was blown up and printed onto all-weather fabric to be displayed as banners at the amphitheater in Washington Lake park.

The project is the first made possible by a $5,000 grant from the South Jersey Arts Alliance. Township officials hope it will inspire people to come from all over the state to view the pieces.

You can check out these works of art during September at the park located at 626 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road in Sewell.
