Shore-going South Jerseyans are probably familiar with the giant roadside probably familiar with the giant roadside attraction that is Mr. Bill – Route 73’s “Happy Halfwit Muffler Man” has been welcoming families passing through Winslow Township for generations.

But this fall, the decades-old statue suffered a crack in his arm, causing his fiberglass limb to fill with rainwater. The weight of the water – and one windy day – was all it took for the arm to come crashing down.

Thankfully Mr. Bill’s owners made sure their landmark got plenty of TLC. With a little bit of paint (and some heavy-duty adhesive), Mr. Bill’s arm is on the mend.
