Happy Trails in Burlco

Just in time to take advantage of the beauty of fall in South Jersey, a 4-mile pathway connecting 2 of Burlington County’s most popular parks is open. It is the first completed phase of the Rancocas Greenway Trail, envisioned as a 30-mile path expected to travel the length of the Rancocas River.

Funded largely by federal grants administered through the NJ Department of Transportation, the $5 million first phase is a fully-accessible stretch between Amico Island Park and Pennington Park. Improvements included the construction of new sidewalks in Delran, Riverside and Delanco as well as 39 handicap-accessible ramps and new pedestrian and bike bridges.
