Moorestown native Marie McCool has become a rock star in U.S. women’s lacrosse – recently playing in the Women’s World Championship, where the U.S. team beat Canada to defend their 3X title and once again win the cup. McCool scored 3 goals in the team’s 16-11 win. This was the Moorestown High School grad’s second appearance in the World Championship. She also appeared in 2017 when she was a junior in college. Now considered a Lacrosse veteran, McCool has taken on a new role of mentor to younger players on the U.S. team.
