5 Things to Do in South Jersey This Weekend

The sun is coming out this weekend and that means it’s time to get out of the house and explore South Jersey. We’ve rounded up some events to keep everyone busy this weekend.


Tots on Tour

Take the little ones to listen to a story and explore Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton at 11 am. Kids can also make art in hands-on workshops inspired by current exhibits. Free with admission to the park. No registration is required, but space is limited.


Haddonfield Uncorked

February 25
South Jersey wineries will be showcasing their exceptional wines in downtown Haddonfield for the town’s annual Uncorked event. From 1 to 4 pm, you can taste wines, browse stores and listen to live music.

Head to Atlantic City for a fun-filled day as Boardwalk Hall comes alive with superheroes, princesses, moon bounces, a petting zoo and much more. Jack Griffo, who plays Max on Nickelodeon’s “The Thundermans,” will make a special appearance. The event starts at noon. Tickets start at $10.


Hamantaschen Making

February 26
Join Temple Sinai of Cinnaminson Sisterhood for Hamantaschen making from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Learn how to make these delicious three-cornered cookies that signify the Purim holiday is coming soon. Cost is $10 per family. For more information or to RSVP, call 856-829-0658 or visit the website.


Cruising the Danube

February 26
Let the Philharmonic of South Jersey take you on a journey through beautiful Vienna, Budapest and Bohemia with the help of talented cellist Joshua Roman. The concert begins at 3 pm with a pre-concert talk at 2 pm at the Eastern Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets range from $15 to $30.
