All eight South Jersey counties landed at the bottom of the 2017 County Health Rankings Report, a ranking of New Jersey counties by health factors.
Ocean County earned the highest South Jersey spot at number 10, and Cumberland County ranked last. Burlington was 11th, Gloucester 14th, Cape May 16th, Atlantic 17th, Camden 18th and Salem 19th.
The report was released by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute. Researchers used two metrics to rank the counties: how long people live and how healthy people feel while alive.
