An Evening with Judy Collins

St. Paddy’s on the Square

Cape May St. Paddy’s Weekend
When:
Saturday, March 19, 11 am – 10 pm
Where: Cape May
Cost: $30 – $50
Kick off the day with a “Kegs and Eggs” breakfast before lacing up your running shoes for the 5k run or 1-mile family walk at 11am. If you’re really feeling brave, get in on the Polar Plunge at noon, then enjoy live entertainment at Carney’s throughout the rest of the day. Bonus: Proceeds benefit Cape May County’s local charity Family Promise. 

Pirates and Pajamas
When: Friday, March 18, 7 pm – Saturday, March 19, 9 am
Where: Camden’s Adventure Aquarium

Enjoy an awesome overnight experience at The Center for Aquatic Sciences at Adventure Aquarium. Spend the night with sharks, sea turtles and basically anything else you can find swimming beneath the sea. Then, wake up and hang out with African penguins and hippos. Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”

Laser Queen

Where: Rowan University’s Edelman Planetarium, Glassboro
Cost: $5 for adults / non-Rowan students, $3 for Seniors 60+, children 16 and under & Rowan students with ID.
Experience Queen in a whole new light with an epic laser show featuring the legendary band’s biggest hits at Edelman Planetarium.

“TICK, TICK… BOOM!”
When: Friday & Saturday, March 18 & 19, 8 pm; Sunday, March 20, 2 pm.
Where: The Ritz Theatre Co., Haddon Township

Take a step into the life of Jonathan Larson, the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning composer of “Rent,” in this autobiographical musical that takes you through his journey as a little-known playwright that led to becoming a Broadway blockbuster. 

“Little Shop of Horrors”
When: Friday & Saturday, March 11 & 12, 7:30 pm.
Where: Lenape High School, Medford
Want to spend the weekend supporting some amazing budding talent? Get sucked into a sci-fi world as students at Lenape High School perform their Spring musical, “Little Shop of Horrors.”

Alice Paul: In Pursuit of Ordinary Equality
When: Friday, March 18, noon – 4 pm
Where: Paulsdale
Cost: $5
Pioneering suffragette Alice Paul was born right here in South Jersey, and you can visit her Mt. Laurel home and celebrate her work for gender equality. No appointments are required for a self-guided tour of her exhibit.

Check out the Harriet Tubman Museum
When: Friday & Saturday, March 18 & 19, 11 am – 3 pm; Sunday, March 20, 2 – 3 pm.
Where: Cape May
Cost: $10 for adults, $5 for children 10 and under.
Head on a guided tour to learn about the rich history of Cape May’s Black community, as well as, of course, Harriet Tubman’s efforts to free slaves while living in Cape May.

Grounds For Sculpture Night Forms
When: Friday, March 18 – Sunday, March 20, 5-11 pm
Where: Hammonton
Cost: $28 for adults 18+, $22 for youth 6-17, $18 for adult members, $14 for youth members
Go to Grounds For Sculpture after dark to see Night Forms. The exhibit features video projections, light and sounds that illuminate more than a dozen of the museum’s existing works of sculpture. You can also warm up by exploring indoor galleries or grab dinner at the Van Gogh Café.
