Family Nature Walk

June 3
Grab the kids and head to Palmyra Nature Cove for a two-hour family hike with naturalist Kristina Merola. Hike begins at 9 am and costs $5. Nature Cove members hike for free. Moorestown Day

June 3
Cruise the craft vendors and local merchants lining Main Street in Moorestown for this annual event. Enjoy food, entertainment and performances from local theater companies. The family fun runs from 9 am to 4 pm. For more information, visit the website.

 

War Reenactment

June 3
Join members of the Continental and British armies as they participate in Indian King Tavern’s “Skirmish on the Highway.” British redcoats will “loot and pillage” the shops and farmers’ market along Kings Highway in Haddonfield before they battle the Continentals in front of the tavern at 1 pm. Kids can participate in a musket drill and learn what it was like to be a soldier in the Revolutionary War. For more information, visit the website.

 

Food Truck Festival

June 3 & 4
Grab the family and head to Atlantic City to indulge in fare from local food trucks. Enjoy a variety of cuisines, live music and kids’ activities. Celebrity chef Brian Duffy and “Hell’s Kitchen” winner Meghan Gill will host live cooking demonstrations and select the festival’s grand champion. The festival will be held at Brighton Park from noon until 8 pm on Saturday and from noon until 6 pm on Sunday. For more information, visit the website.

 

Earth Fair

June 4
Enjoy a day of family fun while helping the environment at Historic Smithville Park. The annual Earth Fair will have vendors, entertainment and activities for the kids like trash sculpting, papermaking and storytelling.
