Autism Speaks 5K
August 26
Take strides in benefitting autism research at the Autism Speaks Wildwood 5K. Registration begins at 7:30 am, with the race kicking off at 8:30 am. All runners will receive a T-shirt, with medals being awarded to the top three men, women and children. For more information, visit the website.
A Night in Suffrage White
August 26
Celebrate Women’s Equality and the passage of the 19th Amendment with the Alice Paul Institute during “A Night in Suffrage White: A Pop-Up Dinner at Paulsdale.” In honor of the many suffragists who wore white in their fight to gain the right to vote, every guest is encouraged to wear white clothing and bring table linens that are white. All proceeds will go toward the institute’s leadership programs for teen girls and continued advocacy for the passage of the Equal Rights Act. For more information, visit the website.
St. Joan of Arc Church Carnival
August 26
Take in a night of rides, entertainment, food and games during the final night of the St. Joan of Arc Church Carnival. The carnival begins at 6 pm on church grounds in Marlton. 50/50 raffle tickets will be available for purchase as well as all-access ride bracelets ($20 in advance or $35 the night of). Chocolate & Vanilla Celebration
August 26 & 27
Spend the day celebrating two tasty plants: chocolate and vanilla. The Camden Children’s Garden will host special activities like a tropical smell test and favorite ice cream flavor voting.
