For those with loved ones who have special needs, going out to crowded family spots – especially zoos, aquariums or amusement parks – can be overwhelming. Now, Adventure Aquarium in Camden is offering a sensory-friendly night for those families that need a more relaxed setting.

The Aquarium’s new “F.I.S.H Night” (which stands for “Family Inclusive Special Hours,”) is designed for the special needs community to visit and enjoy an evening at the aquarium in a setting that won’t cause sensory overload. This means families can enjoy seeing their favorite sea creatures in a calm environment that takes lighting and noise levels into consideration by making special accommodations.

Adventure Aquarium’s F.I.S.H Night will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4 from 6 to 8 pm. Tickets are discounted to $21.99, and personal care attendants with a valid ID can enter with no additional cost.
