Raining Cats and Dogs Fest

Saturday, April 27 (11 am – 3 pm) | Friends of Burlington County Animal Shelter

Take a photo with Bruiser the Special Cat, visit the popular Kiss-A-Bull kissing booth, watch K9 search-and-rescue demonstrations, see awesome dog tricks, and more at the Raining Cats & Dogs Pet Fest.

Admission to the event is free and well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to attend.

 

 

 

 

 

Garden State Appaloosa Horse Show

April 20 and 21 (7:30 am – 5 pm) | Gloucester County Dream Park

For the equestrians and horse lovers among us – join one of the most popular Appaloosa events in the country as graceful steeds and their riders compete in the Dream Park horse show. Watch experienced professionals and talented young student jockeys run through skills drills, pole bending, walks, trots, and other styles while judges evaluate their performances.  Pick your favorites and cheer them on as prizes are awarded toward the end of the event. AWA Paws and Feet 5K Race and Doggie Fun Day

May 11 (9 am – 2 pm) | Cooper River Park

Support life-saving Animal Welfare Association programs (and have fun at the same time) during this year’s Paws and Feet event, AWA’s largest annual fundraiser. Your four-legged friends will have so much to do, including doggie agility courses and a swim party. For human guests, enjoy face painting, a live DJ, raffles, food trucks, and more.

 

 

 

 

 

Toddler Time at Paws Discovery Farm

Every Friday until May 31 (10 am – noon) | Mt. Laurel

Your little ones (and you) will love it at Paws Discovery Farm.  There are cute baby pigs, goats, ducks, and many more fuzzy friends just waiting to meet you. Tickets are $10 per child and adults are free. It includes story time, animal encounters and crafts!
