Since 1995, the New Jersey Department of Education has released data on public schools, offering parents (and taxpayers) a look at how their school stacks up against other schools in other towns. Numbers like average SAT scores, dollars spent per pupil and even the length of the school day create a snapshot of just how good your child’s education may be – or not.
