The SJ Magazine Women of Excellence Awards Inspiration award recognizes a woman who inspires others through her work, ideas and example.

Our 2022 honoree Danielle Jackson has always found refuge in books – and when she realized that so many kids in Camden don’t have the resources to escape into books like she did, she took it on herself to change that.

Now as “The Hoodbrarian,” she’s created a mobile library that brings books directly to the kids in Camden. We were honored to name her our Women of Excellence Inspiration Award Honoree.
