Good Old Days Festival

Head out for some old-fashioned fun at the Good Old Days Festival at John F. Kennedy Park in Somers Point. Check out antique cars, grab a bite to eat or swing by the beer garden while the kids enjoy pony rides, magic shows and more. There will also be a 5K run/walk at 9 am. Tri-State K-9 5K

Bring Fido along for this pet-friendly 5K run and 1-mile fun walk. The race begins at 9 am and is followed by a after party featuring food, demonstrations and tons of vendors. Waves & Wheels Festival

AC Seafood Fest
September 10
Just steps away from the ocean, you can enjoy Atlantic City’s best seafood, sip Jersey-made craft beers, cook with local chefs, hear live music and more. The festival runs from 11 am to 6 pm both days. Cost is $10 per day; kids under 12 are free. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. Doggie Dash and Splash
September 9 & 10
Grab your leash and head to the beach for a pooch-friendly weekend in Wildwood. On Saturday, you can race together down the boardwalk in the Doggie Dash 5K and 1-miler. Registration begins at 8 am, and cost is $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1-miler. On Sunday, your furry friend can paddle throughout the pools of the Raging Waters Water Park at Morey’s Piers from 5 to 7pm. Cost is $25 for dogs and $15 for owners. Proceeds benefit the NJSPCA. Heroes Run

Honor the first responders of September 11 at the Travis Manion Foundation 9/11 Heroes Run at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken. The 5K and 1-mile fun run begin at 9:11 am, and participants can enjoy food, music and kids’ activities after the race. Registration for the 5K is $35 and $25 for the 1-mile fun run.
