Spring Sensory Walk

April 2 

Boundary Creek Natural Resource, Moorestown

Explore the nature trails of Boundary Creek Natural Resource Sensory with a special sensory walk for families with children ages 5 to 12. Along the trail, stop at stations with instructions to help you see, smell, hear and touch the nature around you. Naturalists will also be on the trail to provide assistance. Life that Glows

April 5 

Arney’s Mount Park, Columbus

Watch as plants, invertebrates, mushrooms and more light up the night with dazzling colors under special UV flashlights. The walk through Arney’s Mount Park, led by a senior park naturalist, runs from 7:30 to 9 pm. Participants must be age 10 and up, and registration is required. Doo Dah Parade

April 13 

The Boardwalk in Ocean City

The cutest parade on four legs returns to Ocean City. Head to the Doo Dah Parade to watch over 300 basset hounds take to the boards. The parade begins at noon, leaving from 6th St. and Asbury Avenue. For more information, visit the website

Mini Musicians

April 13 

Perkins Center for the Arts, Collingswood 

Feel the rhythm with your little one at this interactive music and movement class hosted by Perkins Center Collingswood. The free class runs from 10:30 to 11:15 am. For more information, visit the website

Renaissance Faire

April 20 & 21 

Historic Smithville 

Take a trip back to a time of knights, jesters and sword fights during Historic Smithville’s Renaissance Faire. Visitors can also browse local vendors and traveling merchants for gifts and crafts. The event runs from 11 am to 5 pm each day. For more information, visit the website.  

String Band Parade 

April 20

Starts Redman & Haddon Avenues, Haddonfield 

Strut along or watch the pros during Camden County’s String Band Parade. The festivities also feature music, food, games and a number of surprises. The parade begins at 1 pm at Redman and Haddon Avenues and ends at Haddon Square. For more information, visit the website.

Green Festival

April 20 

Collingswood

Going green has never been so easy with plenty of resources, refreshments and live music at Collingswood’s Green Festival. The event runs from 9 am to 2 pm. For more information, visit the website. 

Haddonfield Music Festival

April 27 

Kings Highway, Haddonfield

Camden County Plant Sale

April 27 

508 Lakeland Road, Blackwood 

Camden County Certified Gardeners are once again hosting their plant sale, offering thousands of perennials, herbs, vegetables and more plants for you to get your garden started this season. Emlen Physick Estate, Cape May
