Every day, women live out so many roles: mom, wife, businesswoman, BFF, athlete…the list is endless. (You know all you do!) And it’s always great to look your best as you perfectly perform the many parts you play. A visit to Cherry Hill Mall can give you the latest styles to match every persona you have. It’s an easy, one-stop way to find lots of looks for every fabulous part of you.
Get the Look: Date Night
The right outfit can turn your next date night into something special. “I think the ideal date-night look is simple and feminine, with a touch of glitz – but it should be comfortable, too,” says Gleeson. “Teetering around in too-high heels or constantly tugging at a too-tight dress isn’t alluring.”
Cindy Smith’s flowy, floral-print dress from Macy’s is a flattering option for women of all shapes and sizes, whether you’re heading out for dinner or to a concert, says Gleeson. “It definitely passes the comfort test, but it still looks romantic and stylish. Pairing it with a little leather jacket makes it a little more edgy and fun. The jackets are very popular this season, and you can find them in tons of different colors in stores at the mall. They’re available in all different price points, too.”
Smith’s pointy-toe ankle booties from ALDO and sleek Vera Bradley clutch add more drama to her outfit, while her jewelry is understated and elegant. “Hoop earrings are back in style, and you can find them in all different sizes and finishes,” says Gleeson.
Bar III Printed Floral Dress, Macy’s, $79.50; Suede and Faux Leather Indoor Jacket in Tarmac, Dynamite, $59.50; Cher Ankle Boots in Black, ALDO, $140; Quilted Harper Clutch in Black, Vera Bradley, $148; Sterling Silver Daryl Hoop Earrings, Urban Outfitters, $20; Found + Treasured Porcupine Quill Necklace, Urban Outfitters, $24
Get the Look: Dressed for Success
To add a dose of style between 9 and 5, stylist Sarah Gleeson recommends reaching for professional pieces that have an edge. “Items that combine a timeless silhouette with an updated print or texture can help you look pulled together but still trendy,” she says.
Tara Elnitski’s classic black pencil skirt from Banana Republic has clean lines, but the perforated, faux-leather fabric adds a modern twist.
“If you look closely, the skirt is not your run-of-the-mill pencil skirt. The trendy aspects are subtle, so it’s appropriate for the office or boardroom,” says Gleeson. “The skirt looks professional paired with a geometric-print top. The print is trendy but the colors are neutral and toned down, which makes both pieces work-friendly.”
While many women reach for heels to complete their office ensemble, Gleeson says booties are a modern alternative. “You’ll see lots of clothes and accessories with snakeskin print in Cherry Hill Mall this season – it’s a really popular trend. The Michael Kors booties are a fun way to bring it into the office,” she says. “If you choose shoes that make a statement, opt for muted accessories, like a handbag in a neutral color and subtle jewelry.”

Get the Look: Grabbing Brunch
Whether you’re meeting your girlfriends over omelets or you’re on a mid-morning date armed with a mimosa, the perfect casual-yet-chic outfit makes brunch at one of Cherry Hill Mall’s delicious restaurants a bit sweeter.
“You don’t want to look like you just rolled out of bed, but you shouldn’t look like you’re heading out for a night on the town either,” says Gleeson. “Rompers are a great choice – they’re a huge trend and in tons of stores at the mall. They’re very flattering, and you can find them in every style from plain black to busy prints.”
An H&M romper with two different patterns is a trendy look for Leah Smith, an artist and designer who once portrayed Cinderella at Disney World.
“The pattern on her romper is the focus of her outfit, so her accessories are more subtle,” says Gleeson. “She’s also wearing neutral-colored wedges from Nordstrom, which are big this spring. Wedges are great because they’re comfortable but still look stylish and a little dressy.”
V-Neck Jumpsuit in Dark Blue Patterned, H&M, $34.95; Sam Edelman Kylie Open-Toe Platform Mule in Modern Ivory Leather, Nordstrom, $159.95; Mini Shoulder Bag in Yellow, H&M, $17.95; Narrow Belt in Snakeskin, H&M, $5.95; Stackable Bracelets in Gold, H&M, $5.95
Get the Look: Evening Glamour
The right dress can make you look utterly A-list at your next event.
“This spring, flashes of metallic fabrics and satin add a luxe layer to evening looks,” says Gleeson. “Stores like Macy’s and Nordstrom have racks of gorgeous dresses, whether you want a chic gown you’ll wear again and again or something spectacular for a one-time special occasion.”
The shimmery gold accents on Smith’s halter gown beautifully highlight its soft mint color, says Gleeson. “Mint is huge this spring – you see it everywhere in the mall. I especially love it on a dress like this because it’s a bit unexpected.”
Smith’s chunky necklace and long, skinny earrings add another unexpected layer to her look, says Gleeson. “They both add a huge ‘wow’ factor. The great thing about accessories like these is that you can easily change them out for a different look every time you wear the dress.”
Xscape Metallic-Print Halter Gown in Aqua, Macy’s, $249; Bellefeuille Necklace in Peach, ALDO, $35; Legavia Earrings, ALDO, $8; Masobello Ring, ALDO, $8; Gea Heels in Blush Patent, Steve Madden, $79.95
Get the Look: Beach Bound
Warmer weather means heading down the Shore for al fresco dining and strolls along the Boardwalk – not to mention bright, breezy clothes.
“White jeans just say summer fun,” says Gleeson.White skinny jeans from J. Crew, paired with a colorful, flowy top from Francesca’s, are a perfect fit for Cindy, an artist based out of Atlantic City.
“Mixing the slim jeans with a loose caftan top balances your proportions and allows you to hide any problem areas. Adding a belt to the top also highlights your shape,” says Gleeson. “You can throw a top over your swimsuit and go right from the beach to lunch.”
Smith’s sparkly gold handbag and jewelry add a bit of glamour to her outfit, adds Gleeson. “The vibrant orange scarf looks pretty, but it’s also practical when it’s windy at the beach. Her bracelets and long pendant necklace are also appropriate for the beach, because they’re not too dainty.”
Venice Beach Swim Cover-Up, Francesca’s, $28; Skinny Cotton Tank Top in Blissful Peach, New York and Company, $12.95; Stacked Heel Mule in Cognac, Express, $59.50; Stretch Toothpick Cone Denim Jean in White, J.Crew, $115; Square Printed Scarf in Orange, Uniqlo, $14.90; Fossil Sydney Leather Satchel in Metallic Gold, Macy’s, $178; Skinny Metallic Belt in Gold, Francesa’s, $14; Valetta Pendant Necklace, Francesca’s, $24; Reesea Bracelets, ALDO, $18; Peasien Bracelet, ALDO, $15
Get the Look: Hitting the Gym
Exercise can be a chore, but finding awesome athletic wear can give you all the motivation you need to get moving.
“You obviously want to dress comfortably whether you’re going running or doing yoga, but ditching your old, ratty sweats and T-shirts can get you excited to get off the couch,” says Gleeson. “Lots of stores at Cherry Hill Mall, including The North Face, carry a huge variety of flattering workout gear in bright colors and fun patterns that you can mix and match.”
For Tara, a wellness coach who spends lots of time working out, activewear with practical features like moisture-wicking fabric and built-in sun protection is a bonus. “Bright hoodies and lightweight jackets and vests can be great for layering, so you can easily handle temperature changes whether you’re working out in a gym or riding your bike outside,” says Gleeson.
And even though you’re working out, the right accessories can help complete your looks, says Gleeson. “A water bottle and a big bag to store all your gear are must-haves, and you can find lots of fun options at the mall.”
