November is here, and so is my annual list of what I’m thankful for. You should try making your own list – maybe put it in your notes app and write one thing every day in November. Just imagine what you’ll have on 11/30.
I’m thankful for my mom. We celebrated her 93rd birthday this year.
I’m thankful for dresses with pockets.
Also thankful for women who stand up for other women. But even more thankful for the men who speak up, because their voices have more of an impact. I’m not thankful for that fact, but it’s true.
I’m thankful I’m figuring out how to go on a trip with just a carry-on and still feel I have options when getting dressed.
I’m thankful I grew tomatoes that after a long wait…turned red.
Also thankful the chipmunk in my garden didn’t eat ALL of them.
I’m thankful for friends I can go for months without seeing, and when we finally get together, it’s like we just saw each other.
I’m thankful for reality TV.
There are 3 girls, now adults, who every now and then do something or say something that makes me feel like the world couldn’t be any better. So thankful for them.
And I’m forever thankful for their dad.
I’m thankful when someone texts me a picture when they’re away. Not the one they posted on Instagram, something they just wanted to show me. It makes me happy.
Few things are better than comfortable heels. Thankful for them.
Thankful for cinnamon.
Thankful for any dessert with cinnamon.
I set out to not buy from Amazon this year. It is November, and I have only made one Amazon purchase in 2026. Thankful I could do that, even though it was pretty hard.
I’m thankful I live in South Jersey. I mean…the people, the Shore, the restaurants, the history, the parks. I love living here.
Thankful for vanilla soft serve ice cream.
I’m thankful for people who see one of my Instagram posts, go to my feed and think, “Ok, I’ll follow her.”
Been saying this for possibly 10 years: I’m thankful for my heated blanket.
I’m thankful gluten-free options have gotten so much better.
I have a setting on my desktop that pulls a new photo every day from my Photos app and places it on the bottom left of the screen. Could be anything – pumpkin picking when the girls were little or dinner with friends from the weekend. I often take a screenshot and send it to whoever is in the picture. I’m thankful for the quick burst of happiness.
I’m thankful for the comments section –wait, I mean when the comments are hysterical and spot-on. It’s kind of amazing how funny some people are.
I’m thankful for my eye mask. I have trained my brain to know when I put it on, it’s time to sleep.
My mom taught me you always straighten the house before you leave for vacation. So that moment when you come home and walk through the door and there’s no clutter…such a great feeling. Thankful for that.
I’m thankful for Diet Coke. But only from a fountain.
I’m also aware of how many people read us on these pages or follow us on social. Some have been with us for years and others have just recently found us. Because of you, we can do what we love. I really can’t thank you enough.
