Let’s go baby tomato!

Marianne Aleardi’s tomatoes need a little help. A tomato cage, to be specific. So Toni Farmer and her set up a tomato cage this week to give her plants support and air and get so many more tomatoes!

Remember a few things when you put your own tomato cages up:
they can go around a few tomato plants
you’re going to gently force the plants’ stems through the cage so they’ll stay off the ground
some plants might need extra support, so use twine to loosely tie them to the cage

Happy gardening!
