Gloucester County’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt

April 20 (starting at 10 am) | New Street Park

 

Thousands of children will search New Street Park for more than 25,000 colorful eggs, filled with candy and prizes. This free event will have music, dancing, photo-ops with a giant bunny and fun activities for the kids. Complimentary coffee and doughnuts will energize parents to keep up with the excitement.

 

 

 

 

South Jersey Geek Fest

April 20 | Woodbury Heights Community Center

 

SJ Geek fest is a celebration for comic book enthusiasts, Youtubers, cosplayers, action-figure collectors, gamers of all kinds and much more. This small, one-day convention gives you the perfect opportunity to showcase all of your geeky interests with others who share your hobbies. So throw on your best costume (or superhero t-shirt) and get ready to make new friends.

 

 

 

 

April Moonlight Walk

April 20 (starting at 7 pm) | Whitesbog Preservation Trust

Explore Whitesbog Village by moonlight with an experienced guide. You’ll get some exercise while learning about the history of Whitesbog and the nature surrounding it. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. All walks are 3-5 miles in length. The event is $5 per person. For more information, call: 609-893-4646.

 

 

 

A Celebration of Motown Music

April 20 | The Vault of Victory Records

Experience some of Motown’s greatest compositions with renditions by a talented cast of musicians. You’ll experience tributes to Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, and many more. Reminisce as you listen to classic throwbacks like “My Girl”, “Superstition”, “What’s Going On”, and “Reach Out I’ll Be There”.

 

 

 

Garden State Appaloosa Horse Show

April 20 and 21 (7:30 am – 5 pm) | Gloucester County Dream Park

For the equestrians and horse lovers among us – join one of the most popular Appaloosa events in the country as graceful steeds and their riders compete in the Dream Park horse show. Watch experienced professionals and talented young student jockeys run through skills drills, pole bending, walks, trots, and other styles while judges evaluate their performances.  Pick your favorites and cheer them on as prizes are awarded toward the end of the event. Earth Day Celebration at Bastso Historic Village

April 20 (12:30 – 4 pm) | Wharton State Forest, Burlington County

 

Explore the historic glassmaking village of Bastso during this exciting event in Wharton State Forest. Activities for the entire family including games and guided group hiking tours will be available. Prefer to explore on your own?
